Modern media is constantly evolving. According to recent information from PEW Research, more Americans own smart phones than ever before which means that advertisers seeking to reach consumers have to adapt their approach. Once upon a time, a simple ad in a print Yellow Pages directory was the ONLY tool that a savvy business owner needed but with the rapid ascension of mobile, newer strategies are needed.
Supermedia recently unveiled a brand new ad campaign for its award-winning Superpages mobile app which focuses on “The Wheel”. A core feature of their app, “The Wheel” gives users a chance to spin an animated wheel and find information on local businesses from restaurants to hotels to service providers. It may sound gimmicky but it turns an indecisive moment of “where to eat tonight” into something fun.
